I am so excited!!  And not just for one reason, but for many!!  First, we finally got a second concentrator hooked up to our spare torch in the studio (thanks, Dad!) and I can now melt boro almost as quickly as I can soft glass!!  So expect to see a LOT more and bigger borosilicate beads from me in the near future while I play and experiment with colors, and push the limits of what I've been able to do with it so far!  Secondly, I'm excited because we have another playdate planned with the Tennessee lampworkers tomorrow.  We're going to Carol Crye's house in Knoxville, and I can't wait to see everyone again!  It sounds like everyone has some great demos planned, and we'll be trading beads and learning new stuff all day long.

We've got some new specials listed HERE, with several different color pallettes and shapes represented.  Sometimes, Mother and I have a tendency to get stuck in a rut working with seasonal colors and designs, but this fall we seem to be all over the place.  Which is a good thing, as it allows us to offer more of a selection for those of you who prefer not to be reigned in by seasonal hues.

Don't forget......October is almost over, and all of the great Susan G. Komen charity auctions on Just Beads will be ending at midnight, October 31st.  There are a lot of artists and sellers who are generously donating their proceeds from these auctions directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation, and many of the items listed are currently well below their retail value.  So cruise on over there and lets get some serious funds raised for this important organization.

Hope you all have a safe, fun, and super-spooky Halloween!!
